Maurice Elvekrog, Ph.D., CFA

Maury Elvekrog, chairman of Seger-Elvekrog Inc., is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the CFA Institute and a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Detroit. A co-author of Better Investing’s monthly column “Repair Shop”, he is a member of the Securities Review and Editorial Advisory committee of the NAIC magazine Better Investing and a co-manager of the Investor Advisory Service, a monthly newsletter published by ICLUBcentral.

A respected management consultant as well as a fully licensed psychologist, Dr. Elvekrog has been a student of the market and has managed pension and profit sharing trusts since 1970. In 1981, he joined Ralph Seger to found Seger-Elvekrog Inc. His advice and expert guidance has been quoted in Business Week, USA Today, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and The San Francisco Chronicle. He has also appeared on The Today Show and PBS.
